 Boarding Policy

1. In order to ensure the health and safety of your pet, all animals boarding at Litsey Animal Hospital are required to be vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian with in the previous 12 months. If proof of vaccinations cannot be provided, all required vaccines will be administered at the owner’s expense. Owner administered vaccines will not be accepted. Required vaccinations include: Rabies, Distemper (DHP), Parvo and Bordetella (kennel cough). The Bordetella vaccine is required every 6 months.
2. To provide a comfortable environment for boarding pets, all animals are required to be free of external parasites (fleas and ticks). If external parasites are found, the affected pet(s) will be treated with Frontline Plus, medication and/or bath if needed at the owner’s expense.
3. Personal items left with your pet(s) while boarding must be labeled. Every effort will be made to return the item(s) in the same condition they were left with us, no guarantee can be made against loss or destruction.
4. Special diet requests will be accommodated at no additional charge. Please leave clear and concise feeding instructions with all cans and/or bags of food clearly labeled with your pet(s) name. If no food is provided, your pet will be fed the hospital Purina EN dry food and cats will be fed Pro Plan Salmon and Rice dry food.
5. Kennel space is based solely on the size of the dog and not on the price of the boarding package you choose. We do not guarantee large runs; the largest dog(s) in the facility at any given time will have priority.
6. All dogs from the same family will be able to board together during the day, walk together and have their individual attention time together. However, if you wish your dogs to be boarded together at night, please ask to sign the individual housing waiver.

Due to security issues we are unable to remain at the hospital after hours for you to pickup your pet.

Hospital Hours:    Monday – Friday  7:30 – 7:00 pm

Saturday  7:30 – 2:00 pm

                                    Sunday  12:00 – 5:00 pm
